FOR MECHANICAL
PARTS LIBRARIES FOR ALL CAD SOFTWARE
Standard Parts library seamlessly integrated to all the main CAD software :
CATIA V5, SolidWorks, Inventor, Solid Edge, Mechanical Desktop, thinkdesign, TopSolid, AutoCAD and GRANITE (Pro/ENGINEER), Parasolid, ACIS, STEP, IGES formats.

-
Contents: Millions of manufacturers' and standard parts (ASCO/JOUCOMATIC, BOSCH, BOUTET, EMILE MAURIN, FAIRCHILD FASTENERS, FESTO, FIBRO, HASCO, HP SYSTEMS, INA, LEGRIS, NADELLA, NORELEM, NSK, PARKER, PAULSTRA, PNEUMAX, RABOURDIN, SIAM-RINGSPANN, SKF, SMC, SNR, 85 + BS, NF, DIN, ISO, UNI, ANSI, ASME=85), essential for mechanical design in the machinery, aerospace and automotive industries: fasteners, shaft ends, keys, gears, bearings, cylinders, flanges, reducers, elbows, electrical motors, fittings, profiles, sections, mold bases and equipment, ... with hundreds of technical data sheets.
-
Power : you can use different search engines and a real-time 3D viewer to quickly browse the huge parts database: the correct component is correctly inserted from the first time ;
-
Integration : you launch
Trace Parts directly from your CAD software and the selected parts are automatically inserted into your assembly, with all their detailed Bill Of Materials data (part name, reference, manufacturer, standard, mass, ...) ;
-
2D views : once the part has been selected, you can automatically generate all its 2D views in either DWG or DXF format ;
-
Multilingual : your can change
Trace Parts language in just a few seconds (English, Italian, German, Spanish, French or Dutch) ;
-
Updates : you can download new parts catalogs and product updates through an exclusive maintenance contract ; Rapid access to international standard and manufacturers' components, and the ability to insert them easily allows designers to dedicate their time fully to the design process, thereby improving productivity

Trace Parts is of interest for not only most CAD draughtsmen, but
also technicians, engineers, buyers and marketing personnel who require
information regarding the components of a machine or assembly for any
number of reasons, ranging from the definition of user guides to the
creation of marketing tools.
In addition, certain drawing offices
use multiple CAD platforms to remain compatible with a maximum number of
clients and sub-contractors. In this scenario Trace Parts brings
unparalleled peace of mind; assuring that the same tool can be used for
the insertion of information into the platform in use and, of course,
that the information will be identical whatever the system in
use.
Although Trace Parts is highly recommended in the machinery,
tooling, aerospace and automotive industries, it is also extremely
profitable to the technical schools and a specific educational package
is available.
The integration of a new catalogue within Trace
Parts is the subject of a long-term and contractual relationship with
the manufacturer. The frequent updates to the database of components are
available through a maintenance contract that means that users are
supplied (by CD or Online) with the latest information and
functionality.

Your information requirements concerning components aren't limited to the
drawing office.
With its database of components that can be controlled from a network
server and a complete selection of solutions for all the services that
need access to component information (purchasing, maintenance,
marketing, commercial, 85), Trace Parts is a formidable tool for the
sharing of information. All the information is grouped in a single
database of components and all users have simultaneous access.
Trace Parts Viewer
Ideal for users who require access to component information but do not
need to insert models into CAD assemblies. The user interface is
identical to that of the Trace Parts CD with simply the insertion
routines deactivated.
Trace Parts technology:
All the information required for the definition of components
(designations, references, standards, manufacturers, classifications,
dimensions, associated files, 85) is structured in accordance with the
partsXML=AE specifications.
The modeling of the components is
performed using the dotCAD=AE format, a format that has been developed
by Trace Software to provide a neutral generic, platform independent, 3D
parametric solid modeling format.
