CDC Exhibits World-Leading CAD/CAM Solution at KZN
Industrial Technology Show.
What a successful week it was for CDC at the KZN Industrial Technology
Exhibition in Durban. The exhibition proved to be a Durban ‘highlight’
for the year, with a wonderful turnout from many diverse enterprises
in the Tooling and Machining industries amongst others.
The CDC stand focused on showing how
CATIA
can have a profoundly
positive affect on all companies both large and small, by cutting
costs and reducing time-to-market. CDC proved how
CATIA can create
complex shapes more quickly, easily explore design ideas, and
dramatically improve design productivity.
CATIA’s possibilities seemed
endless and unimaginable to the many visitors that passed by our
stand. Of particular interest was the fact that
CATIA is a complete
‘end-to-end’ integrated solution – concept, design, prototype,
analysis, manufacturing/machining, PLM. Problems constantly met with
add-on packages – such as the time and cost of data conversion, errors
introduced, loss of vital engineering information – just don’t exist
with CATIA.
CDC was proud to showcase our new ‘special offer’ for the Tooling and
Manufacturing industries. With this new offer we are able to dispel
the false rumour that CATIA is a pricey, “big boys only” solution and
that in reality it is easily affordable by and within easy reach of
even small- to medium-sized businesses.
Once again, CDC thanks all those who visited our
CATIA stand at the KZN Industrial Technology Exhibition last week. In the short time
available we managed to demonstrate
CATIA's extraordinary
functionality, versatility, integration and industry-standard status.
We also answered many questions and illustrated how
CATIA can
