Cape Town - 20-24 September
CDC recently participated in the Aerospace and Defense
Exhibition in Cape Town. Success stories from Airbus, Boeing, and Dassault
Aviation were shown to visitors as we willfully demonstrated the PLM solution
related to the Aerospace Industry.

The demonstrations included cost saving simulation solutions from DELMIA that
have been used by Aerospace OEMs to simulate and validate the assembly process
producing better collaboration in all phases of operation including human
ergonomic simulations, bringing you the big picture of what you are trying to
accomplish, not just breakdowns of specific tasks.
New NC machining functionality was demonstrated to visitors, which
incorporated complex aerospace parts. The functionality was derived especially
for the aerospace industry based on distinctive requirements in order to
increase productivity and improve quality in the machining of large parts that
include multiple pockets.
Other participants in the exhibition included Boeing, Airbus and British
Aerospace (BAE) as well as local aerospace companies like Denel, Aerosud and
Africa Aerospace all of whom are existing users of our PLM Solution.
CDC is pleased with the fact that companies like Airbus, Boeing and BAE are
investing in the local aerospace industry, in turn enabling our companies to
grow and prosper in a Proudly South African way.
We were very pleased with the overwhelming amount of visitors to our exhibit
and to all those whom left us their contact details we would like to extend
the warmest welcome to a truly stimulating innovation. Courtesy e-mails have
been sent to you, and remember: Power to Plan is Power to Build.
